At 11:10 a.m., police responded to a vehicle colliding with a pole at Lyons Avenue and Hobson Street, Newark Public Safety Director Fritz Fragé said. The man driving the vehicle had a medical emergency and he was transported to a nearby hospital for evaluation, Fragé said.
No other injuries have been reported and the crash remains under investigation, Fragé said.
